Application Technique for Soft Gel Foundation

1
Take powder with about half of the sponge.

2
Spread outward from center of the face. For a natural and contoured look, fully apply on the center, and lightly apply on the face line. Apply sparingly to areas that are prone to flaking, such as eyes and mouth.

3
Spread outward for areas along the hairline and outline of the face using the clean side of the sponge. Gently use the edge of the sponge around the nostrils and eyes.

Color Selection Technique

Changes in Skin Brightness by Season
Skin tends to follow behind the current season. From winter to early spring, there is a dramatic increase in UV rays. However, your skin is still in winter condition, even in early spring, thus making your skin lightest during this season. After summer in the other hand, there is a dramatic decrease in UV rays. Nevertheless, your skin is still in summer condition even with decreased UV rays and consequently your skin will not become brighter even after August.
1. First, select hue
Out of the foundation hues (soft ochre tones -- beige tones), select two that are closest to your skin tone. Apply to your face along the neckline. The hue that best matches you is the one that blends with your skin.
2. Next, choose level of brightness
After determining the appropriate hue, select the level of brightness you desire. Choose brightness that is appropriate to the season or by matching with the image you want to convey.
